Good Party leader AKSENER: “We will solve inflation in 12 months”
Meral Aksener, the leader of the GOOD Party hassaid: “We have made calucations. We will come and solve the inflation (monster) and the interest rate problem within 12 months at the latest.” Aksener likened Erdogan whom she accused of impoverishing the people, to a “colonial governor”.
The Turkish Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT) had announced March inflation as 61.14 percent. According to independent social scientists, this rate is much higher.
Speaking at her party’s group meeting in Parliament, Aksener teased Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati’s constantly changing forecasts about “the economy would improve”.

Arguing that the citizens had now “run out of patience”, Aksener said companies close to the government were getting richer as the people were struggling with the economic crisis.
