Good Party leader’s statement about Erdogan’s referendum proposal: He knows he will lose

GOOD Party Leader Meral AKSENER has made clear she has seen the “game” of President Tayyip Erdogan who has came with a referendum proposal by raising his hand to the CHP’s proposal for legal regulation of the hijab (head scarf) saying “Mr. Erdogan saw that he would lose the election, he hugs (resorts to) every spiritual issue, concrete concept with both hands.”

At the beginning of this month, CHP leader KILICDAROGLU had announced that they would submit a law proposal on ‘legal guarantee of the headscarf’. Arguing that there was no such problem in the country, Erdogan called out to the opposition, “Let’s provide a solution at the constitutional level.“

In reply to this, the CHP leader replied, ”If a cunning agenda is not behind it again, we are ready to give all kinds of support.” Erdogan then said that they would add the family and content relating to LGBTI+ to the arrangement, and told KILICDAROGLU, “If you can dare it, let’s take this to a referendum.” CHP leader refused, stating that Erdogan, like Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, had the aim of turning the election into a referendum on anti-LGBTI+ issues.
