Hand luggage rules changed across Europe: Passengers can carry 100 milliliters of liquid and gel

The hand luggage rules at airports across the European Union (EU) have been changed. The new regulations are set to take effect on September 1st.

According to a report by Belgium’s official agency Belga, passengers will now be allowed to carry 100 milliliters of liquid and gel instead of 125 milliliters.

Medications and liquid baby food are exempt from these rules. The new regulations will apply to all airports across the EU.

Passengers are required to place these liquid and gel products in appropriate containers, and all items must be packed in a transparent plastic bag with a maximum capacity of 1 liter.
