Üsküdar Mayor Hilmi Türkmen, who spoke to Hazal Güven on Tele1 regarding the allegations, said, “The restoration is continuing smoothly. No problem at all. Do not believe everything you see,” he explained.

Speaking to Tele1, Chamber of Architects Istanbul Branch President Esin Köymen said, “We have previously called on the Ministry to carry out the restoration process transparently. The allegations are on our agenda, we will be a follower of the process.”

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has not yet made a statement on the issue.
