Health minister Koca says loss of lives from coronavirus in Turkey reaches 5,344

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca, shared Turkey’s daily coronavirus table. According to the data in the table, the total loss of lives caused by coronavirus in Turkey reached 5,344, while the number of cases was 1,016.

In the last 24 hours, 48,813 tests have been carried out, 1,016 cases have been identified and 21 people have died. Thus, the total number of cases increased to 2111,981 and the loss of lives to 5,344.

Minister’s message shared on Twitter was as follows:

”In the last three days, the 7 provinces with the highest drop in the number of cases: Kars, Çanakkale, Bartın, Artvin, Ardahan, Kütahya and Yalova. In Turkey, the rate of cases returning to pneumonia is declining. Increases and decreases in case numbers depend on compliance with the mask and distance rule.”
