Health Minister says more than 750 thousand doses of Biontech vaccine have arrived

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca has announced more than 700 thousand doses of the BionTech vaccine has come to Turkey.

The Minister has made an announcement on his social media account as follows:

5,800 doses of BioNTech vaccine came to our country last week, to be tested. Yesterday, we received about 750 thousand doses of said vaccine. Except for tests and clinical research, the BioNTech vaccine has arrived for the first time. Security tests are being carried out and will be applied to our citizens next week.

Today, more than 700 thousand doses of BioNTech vaccine have reached our country. Thus, approximately 1.4 million doses of ready-to-use vaccine have been reached. This vaccine will be used for the first time in our country. The vaccine will be implemented in each of our centers where storage conditions are appropriate.”
