Minister Koca says scientific developments indicate outbreak is near its end

Health of Minister KOCA has made important statements. In his message KOCA said, “As I have emphasized in my previous speeches, there is no unfinished war, no unfinished epidemic. Scientific developments indicate that the outbreak is near its end.”

He went on to say, “Information reflected to the world public about the vaccine is information that gives hope. The scientific world agrees that results will be received by the end of the year. There are 9 vaccines that are in the Phase 3 study stage. Britain, Germany and China have launched the application.

As Turkey, we have started our supply initiatives while continuing our vaccine work. The first application of the vaccine in China was started in 3 health workers at Hacettepe University, in Turkey. We may be experiencing the last critical months of the epidemic.”
