Hotel Prices in Bodrum During the Holiday: Up to 41,000 TL Per Night

The famous tourist destination Bodrum is experiencing increased activity ahead of the Ramadan Bayram. Alişir Şahin, Vice President of the Bodrum Hoteliers Association (BODER), mentioned that they expect approximately 55% occupancy across hotels during the holiday period. “Reservations are ongoing. Domestic tourists love last-minute bookings. There is a lot of variety in Bodrum, and hotel prices range from 1,500 TL per person to 1,000 Euros (41,000 TL),” he said.
As the Ramadan Bayram approaches, hotels in Bodrum have begun preparations. A surge in reservations has been observed, especially for those hotels opening for the upcoming 2025 summer season. Due to the Bayram coinciding with the school holiday period, the duration of stays is expected to increase. Tourists have noted that this season started one month earlier than usual, offering a variety of vacation options for all budgets in Bodrum.
According to reports, hotel prices range from 1,500 TL per person to 41,000 TL for premium offerings.
Additionally, during the holiday period, 7 extra domestic flights will be organized to Milas-Bodrum Airport. Şahin commented on the overall holiday mobility, stating that both the domestic and international markets will experience an increase in activity. “Hotels will open earlier this year due to the Ramadan Bayram. They used to open in April, but this year they will open on March 28. The season starts with the Bayram. Every year we continue to grow in tourism, and we hope this trend continues without any issues,” he added.
“We Hope Construction Restrictions Are Followed”
Şahin also mentioned that they expect 55% hotel occupancy during the Bayram period, adding: “Reservations are continuing. The domestic market loves last-minute bookings. There is a great variety in Bodrum, so prices range from 1,500 TL per person to 1,000 Euros. We encourage those who haven’t booked yet to do so as soon as possible. With the school holidays, if the weather is good, the holiday may extend. This means the holiday could last an additional week. During the winter, there were some flights from the UK to Bodrum at specific times. As the weather warms up, there will be more activity. With more hotels opening during Bayram, we expect an increased influx from international tourists as well. The season will officially start. In general, flight services will increase starting from April 26, especially from the UK and Germany. Furthermore, construction restrictions will begin on May 1. We kindly ask the governor and mayor not to extend the construction season. We hope construction regulations will be followed to prevent disruptions such as excavation trucks or noise and visual pollution on the streets.”
“Early Hotel Openings Will Extend Employment Duration”
Tourism professional Zeynel Kılıç mentioned that opening hotels earlier will extend the tourism employment season in Bodrum. “When it comes to the holiday, Bodrum is one of the first destinations that comes to mind. With the holiday, the season will begin in Bodrum as well. Hotel owners are starting the season earlier this year, considering the Bayram. There is visible activity in the hotels already open for the Bayram. Since the mid-term school holiday coincides with the Bayram, there has been a noticeable increase in bookings. This is a great advantage for families with children.
What was previously a 4-day holiday (Saturday to Tuesday) is now extended to 9 days for families with kids. Normally, the season would start at the end of April or early May, but this year, it will begin at the end of March and the beginning of April. This will have a significant positive impact on employment. Tourism staff will work an additional month this year. Last year, we hosted 1.6 million tourists, and this year, we aim to exceed that number. Early bookings have increased, which gives us an idea of how the season will unfold,” he concluded.
