Hoteliers Association says Dalyan seen as “safe holiday location” by local & foreign visitors

Dalyan Hoteliers and Tourism Association (DOD) President has said Dalyan has been continuing its success as a safe holiday location thank to measures taken against COVID-19 pandemic. The President has also added they have been receiving positive returns from local and foreign tourists.

This year, the DOD (Dalyan Hoteliers and Tourism Association), whose infrastructure has been prepared for a long time, was officially established. Ali MÜRŞİT YAĞMUR, President of the newly established association, also made important statements about Dalyan being the first choice point of guests for holiday in the pandemic.

The President said “the last time we fight for our country and a strong and stable manner. We have given a serious fight against Covid-19 outbreak, which has a serious negative impact in the world as well as Turkey. The epidemic has caused significant developments and changes in the tourism industry, like all other sectors. In this process of change, the concept of “safe tourism” has quickly become the most important phenomenon of the sector. All measures we have taken to ensure our guests’ health, safety and a peaceful holiday are effectively positive and provide lasting returns.

Dalyan region continues its success as a “safe holiday location” in this regard with its 130 different accommodation facilities in the form of boutique concept and family businesses. This is of great importance for the preference of the visitors. In addition, the ancient city of Kaunos, the historical King Rock Tombs, Orange-Pomegranate Gardens and Iztuzu Beach, which is famous worldwide as “the Nest of Caretta Caretta Turtles”, allow guests to enjoy a special holiday during their stay.

The preference of guests visiting Dalyan are as follows; Villas, apartments, hostels, boutique hotels and hotels. It seems clear that Dalyan will continue to be among the first choices for guests to visit.”
