Important statement from Biontech CEO: We will have difficulties for another four months

Ugur Sahin, one of the founders of the BioNTech company said “Turkey will be able to return to normal life next summer.” The Covid-19 vaccine developed by BioNTech in cooperation with Pfizer is also being applied in Turkey.

According to a prominent Turkish journalist, speaking at an event in Germany, Biontech CEO Sahin said that the new Omicron variant should not be feared, and it can be understood within two weeks whether its vaccines would work for this variant.

Sahin said that the difficult times will continue for another four to five months, adding: “I believe that by following the rules, next summer we will be able to regain immunity and return to our normal lives.”
