Southwest wind will show its effect again in Marmara and Aegean

According to the latest weather forecasts from Meteorology, the lodos (southwest wind) effect is reported to last in Marmara and the North Aegean. Rain is expected in Izmir, Aydın and Çanakkale. While the wind is expected to be strong, a warning was issued against roof flying, toppling trees and poles, stove poisoning.

Based on recent assessments by the General Directorate of Meteorology intermittent showers and thunderstorms are expected to overtake in southern parts of Dardanelles and the coastal areas of the Aegean starting in the afternoon. In the morning and at night, haze and fog are expected in places, along with icing and frost in the inner and eastern parts of the Western Black Sea and inland and eastern parts.
