In September, domestic holiday prices in Turkey increase by 149 percent

In September 2023, Turkey saw an annual inflation rate of 61.53%. During the same period, the prices of domestic holiday tours lasting one week or more in Turkey increased by 149%.

According to Turizm Databank’s estimate based on TÜİK (Turkish Statistical Institute) data, the price of one-week or longer domestic holiday tours organized by tour companies in Turkey increased by 149% in September 2023, surpassing 12,000 TL.

How much does a weekend tour cost?

In the same month, the price of weekend holiday tours also increased by 149% to 2,300 TL. On the other hand, the price of overseas tours announced by holiday tour companies and tour websites increased by 146% to 20,000 TL.
