Admiral Rob Bauer, Chairman of the NATO Military Committee, warned that Western countries were on the verge of running out of ammunition due to the support provided to Ukraine.

Speaking at the Warsaw Security Forum, Bauer, NATO’s highest-ranking military official, said, “We’ve almost scraped the bottom of ammunition.” According to Admiral Bauer, both governments and defense companies need to “increase production at a much faster pace.” Bauer noted that NATO countries had not invested enough in the military sector for decades, so when they started supplying ammunition to Ukraine, many countries’ arsenals were not even half full.
