Inflation statement from President of Turkish Industry and Businessmen Association

The head of TUSIAD (Turkish Industry and Businessmen Association), Simone Kaslowski said that a three-legged program was needed to combat inflation. Kaslowski noted that these three legs were the right monetary policy, fiscal policy in line with it, and structural changes to support production.

Noting that inflation will be solved with this three-legged program to be created, Kaslowski answered questions about the agenda in an interview he gave to Turkish media.

Noting the danger of high inflation, Simone Kaslowski said: “To solve inflation, you need to use all three tools correctly in the economy. Monetary policy, fiscal policy and structural changes that will support the production needed in certain sectors.”
