Interest and inflation message from President Erdogan

President Erdogan gave important messages about the fight against inflation and the Central Bank’s interest rate decision. Reminding that the interest rate fell to a single digit after 2 years, Erdogan said, “This will continue like this from now on. Don’t worry, inflation will also come down.”

President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdogan spoke at the “AK Party Expanded Provincial Advisory Council Meeting” in Konya.

Regarding interest rate and inflation he made following statements:

“WE HAVE REDUCED THE INTEREST RATE TO SINGLE DIGITS, INFLATION WILL ALSO COME DOWN”

Reminding that he said that the interest rate would be reduced to single moire figures, Erdogan noted the following: “Have we come down to single digit in interest, we have. Come on, now, what are you going to explain this with? And this will continue to be the case from now on. Don’t worry, he’ll come down too. For us, interest was first, and we reduced the interest to single digits at this point.

Now I am addressing investors from here, I say, ‘Look, I have always told you, to come. We have public banks in particular, to provide investment loans. And what is our goal with an investment loans?
