Iran: If Israel enters Gaza, no one can control the situation

Iran has stated that if Israel conducts a ground operation in Gaza, “no one can guarantee that the conflicts will not spread.” According to the U.S., Iran’s potential involvement in the conflict is an undeniable risk.

Iran has warned that a possible Israeli ground operation in the Gaza Strip could further escalate tensions in the Middle East.

IRAN: TO PREVENT SPREAD OF CONFLICT BARBARIC ATTACKS ON GAZA SHOULD STOP

According to DW, following a meeting between Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, in Doha, the Iranian Foreign Ministry made a statement. The statement quoted Amir-Abdollahian as saying, “No one can guarantee the control of the situation and the prevention of the spread of conflicts in the event of a possible Israeli ground operation.”

Amir-Abdollahian also reportedly criticized the United States, which expressed support for Israel after the attacks on October 7, following Hamas’s assault on Israel, stating that those concerned with preventing the escalation of the crisis and the spread of the conflict should stop the barbaric attacks on civilians in Gaza. Additionally, Amir-Abdollahian was said to have criticized the U.S. for siding with Israel following Hamas’s attacks on October 7.
