Irish tourist who came to Istanbul for plastic surgery passed away

IRISH WOMAN LOSES LIFE COSMETIC SURGERY ISTANBUL

An Irish tourist (aged 62) who came to Istanbul from Ireland to have her cheeks and arms tightened, passed away. She underwent the operation in a private hospital in the Sultangazi district.

After being discharged, the Irish tourist returned to her hotel in Bağcılar. However, six days after the operation, she suddenly became unwell. Her condition was reported to the hospital where the surgery was performed, and upon the advice of the doctor, she was transported by ambulance to a private hospital near her hotel.

It was learned that the tourist’s heart stopped in the ambulance but was revived with a cardiac massage performed by the medical staff. Despite all efforts, the Irish tourist passed away while being treated at the hospital.

The lifeless body of the Irish tourist was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy, and an investigation has been launched into the doctor who performed the operation and the private hospital where the surgery took place.
