Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality to build entertainment facility
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality is scheduled to launch VIALAND, Turkey’s first theme park on 23rd April 2013.
It is reported that the project is expected to contribute to tourism revenues of Istanbul by increasing the number of tourists visiting the city by 15 percent.
Turkey’s first theme park Vialand’ı, will launch next year. Project is expected to increase by 15 percent the number of tourists visiting the city. The huge facility will be built to cater for all ages and tastes.
The project is to be built on an area of 600 thousand square meters ain districts of Eyip and Gaziosmanpaşa and employ round four thousand people.
The fun park called VIALAND is planned to include many entertainment units such as natural waterfalls, roller coaster, family coaster for families, a castle, fairy-tale world and many more.
Visitors will be able to experience how old Istanbul streets looked, educational activities will be made available for primary school students.
