Istanbul’s inflation for December 2021 reaches 9.65 percent
December inflation in terms of retail prices in Istanbul was calculated at 9.65 percent. Compared to the same month last year, inflation was 34.18 percent.
Retail prices in Istanbul increased by 9.65 percent compared to the previous month, and wholesale prices increased by 11.96 percent.
Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) announced its December 2021 price indices. Accordingly, in Istanbul in December, the Istanbul Wage Earners’ Livelihood Index, which is an indicator of retail price movements, increased by 9.65 percent compared to the previous month, and the Wholesale Prices index, which reflects wholesale price movements, increased by 11.96 percent.
