Olcay Akdilek, a columnist for HalkTV, stated on the program “Medya Mahallesi,” hosted by Ayşenur Arslan, that there was a policy being developed by the government regarding the tariff structure for electricity to be followed before local elections. According to the information he obtained from officials at the Ministry of Energy, Aydilek claimed that the electricity price increase was expected to be between 20% and 30%.
