Kamala Harris currently leading former President Trump by 3 points in election race
According to a poll conducted by NPR, PBS, and Marist College in the US, Vice President Kamala Harris is currently leading former President Donald Trump by 3 points in the election race, with Harris at 51% and Trump at 48%.
The poll also indicates that 53% of participants believe Harris would better protect democracy compared to Trump. However, on the issue of immigration, 52% of voters think Trump’s stance is stronger than Harris’s. Additionally, 51% of American voters believe that Trump would handle Middle East tensions better than Harris.
The Cook Political Report had previously noted that the point difference between Harris and Trump had narrowed to 1.3. Moreover, a poll by the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) revealed a sharp increase in Harris’s preference among registered voters.
