Temel KARAMOLLAOGLU, leader of the Felicity Party has criticized the lack of recognition of the Constitutional Court (AYM) by a local court decision on a retrial against Enis BERBEROGLU (former CHP deputy) saying: “This is a sign of a revolution. Today the ruling power says, “I am above the law”

KARAMOLLAOGLU also shared following:

“A person (member of AYM who wrote a message on Twitter) talking about the lights being on (in the AYM building at a very late hour at night) turns the agenda upside down. How can one of the members of the AYM make a statement that will remind you of a revolution (meaning coup)? Never mind his statement, you’re ignoring the Constitution.

AYM makes a decision and the local court says “I will not apply the decision taken by AYM”. In fact, this is in fact the sign of revolution. Today, the ruling power says ”I am above the law”.

I am watching the TVs… Everybody’s talking about “how come such a statement like “the lights are still on at AYM”. Think about what he means. You’ve already adopted the principle not to follow the decisions of the Constitutional Court when it doesn’t suit you.

What does that mean? The Constitution has been boxed in a way. There are things you should do; like going back to order of law, establishing justice, giving up arbitrary practices etc. But none of this exists today.

I invite the president to apply the decisions of the Constitutional Court in the face of the clear provisions of the Constitution.”
