KILICDAROGLU ELECTION MEETING

Stating that they wanted to draw a framework without damaging the friendship with Russia, the Nation Alliance’s presidential candidate Kemal KILICDAROGLU said, “I have concrete evidence that Russia is responsible for the ‘deep fake’ content shared on the Internet before Sunday’s elections. If we hadn’t had concrete evidence, I wouldn’t have tweeted (to warn Russia).”

Echoes of the statement made by Nation Alliance’s presidential candidate Kemal KILICDAROGLU saying, “Dear Russian friends, you are behind the photomontage work, plots, deep fake content, tapes that appeared in this country yesterday. If you want to continue our friendship after May 15, take your hands off the Turkish state. We are still in favor of cooperation and friendship.”

Although the Kremlin denies the allegations, KILICDAROGLU told the British news agency Reuters that he stood behind the allegations.

”I WOULDN’T HAVE TWEETED IF THERE WERE NO EVIDENCE”

He told Reuters, ”I have concrete evidence that Russia is responsible for the ‘deep fake’ content shared on the Internet before Sunday’s elections. If  we didn’t have concrete evidence, I wouldn’t have tweeted.”

Kılıçdaroğlu also stated that he had not contacted the Russian Embassy in Turkey. He said, “It is unacceptable for a country to support another political party during the election process in Turkey. I want the whole world to know that we are aware of this, and for this reason I have openly shared it in a tweet.”
