Labor Party of Turkey calls for common presidential candidate: “Let’s put an end to 20 years of darkness”

The Central Executive Committee of the Labor Party of Turkey (TIP) has stated that people will put an end to 20 years of power by succeeding in coming out with a single and common candidate against the ruling AKP-MHP alliance.

TIP MYK Central Administration Board), a member of the “Labor and Freedom Alliance”, which the HDP is also a member of, published a statement emphasizing the ‘single and common candidate’, as follows: “Defeating the palace government, removing the sultanate lovers from their positions, asking for accountability for the crimes committed so far and building a beautiful future together; all these historical and difficult tasks have turned out to be a duty for our people once again.

The statement went on as follows: “Our people will maintain their will and determination against the palace and AKP-MHP alliance, reconciled with principles and will be able to come out with a single and common candidate, thus ending the 20-year darkness.”
