Last minute price hike: Bridge tolls announced in Istanbul

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure has announced the bridge and Eurasia Tunnel fees, to be effective from January 1 in Istanbul.

In the announcement made by the Ministry, one-way car toll on the Bosphorus Bridges is set at 8.25 TL. Bridge tolls have been divided into two equal parts and changed to two-way tolls starting January 1.

“In the Eurasia Tunnel, the car toll is set at TL 53 in one direction between 05:00 and 24:00 and TL 26.50 at a 50 percent discount between 00:00 and 05:00,” The ministry also said in a statement. The vehicle toll is set at TL 26.50 in one direction between 05:00 and 05:00. Dec.
