Last-minute warning from Meteorology… ‘Excessive temperature’ in many provinces, ‘downpour’ alarm in 3 provinces
Turkey will see extreme temperatures once again. The General Directorate of Meteorology reported that the air temperature would be above seasonal norms throughout the country.
Starting today, temperatures will rise by 7 degrees across the city. While a temperature record is expected next week a meteorology editor said Friday Saturday and Sunday would be extremely hot, and under the influence of the desert heat. The same person said, “Tuesday Monday and Tuesday wouls see a slight decrease in air temperatures” adding a second heat wave was coming.
The heat wave that negatively affected life in many cities, especially Istanbul, last week is returning.
The General Directorate of Meteorology has issued a high temperature warning for the Marmara Region starting from Wednesday, July 19.
In the report, it was mentioned that the air temperatures would be above seasonal norms in the entire dormitory with following note: “The heat wave, which is still effective in our western and southern regions, is estimated to be effective in the entire dormitory from Wednesday, 19.07.2023. Air temperatures are expected to rise by 3 to 8 degrees above seasonal norms in the Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean regions, and by 1 to 5 degrees above seasonal norms in other regions.”

MEDITERRANEAN: It is expected to be cloudy and clear.
WESTERN BLACK SEA
It is expected to be cloudy and clear.
CENTRAL and EASTERN BLACK SEA
It is forecast to be partly cloudy and slightly cloudy, with showers and thunderstorms in places, including local Rize areas after noon.
EASTERN ANATOLIA
It is predicted that it will be cloudy and clear, partly cloudy in eastern parts, partly cloudy, after noon, local showers and sometimes thunderstorms around Kars and Erzurum will pass.
