According to the July survey of the Metropoll Survey company, President Tayyip Erdogan is being beaten in the second round by all five possible joint candidates of the opposition. The general election is less than a year away. In recent polls, the loss of votes in the AKP and MHP, the two partners of the ruling CUMHUR alliance, attracts a lot of attention. According to this, although Erdogan finishes first in the first round, where he compees with three opposition candidates, the vote he receives remained below 40 percent.

In the second round, he falls behind all five different opposition candidates. In this round, Ankara Metropolitan Mayor Mansur Yavaş passes Erdogan by a margin of 16 points. Erdogan fails to exceed 42.7 percent against the other four candidates.
