Price Increase in natural gas used by power plants
According to the tariff change made by BOTAŞ, the price of natural gas used by power plants has been increased by 10 percent.
The tariff table for August 2022 has been published on the website of the Association for the Transportation of Oil by Pipelines (BOTAŞ). The price of 1000 cubic meters of natural gas in the tariff for electricity generation purposes was set at 13,750, an increase of 10 percent.
NO CHANGE IN HOUSEHOLDS AND INDUSTRY
The sales price that BOTAŞ will apply to gas distribution companies for residential consumers in August was fixed at 3 thousand 264 lira for 1000 cubic meters of natural gas, and the tariff for industrial subscribers was 10 thousand 416 lira for 1000 cubic meters of natural gas.
