RUSSIAN TOURISTS VACCINATION IN TURKEY

According to the article sent by the Director General of Health Services at the Ministry of Health, clinics in Turkey were officially allowed to vaccinate foreign tourists with vaccines being used in the country for a fee. Russians who have traveled to many countries from Croatia to Serbia to get foreign vaccines after the permit are now expected to prefer Turkey.

A statement from the Association of Russian Tour Operators (ATOR) said “Private large medical organizations are also reporting that they are ready to accept tourists for vaccination. Vaccination can be done without an appointment, only with a passport.”

According to tour operators, Turkey can occupy a 20 percent place in the vaccine tour market, after this step. Istanbul will also be the most preferred place for vaccination tours. According to Sputnik, Turkish companies are developing packages with their Russian partners that include transfer and return to the place of vaccination, escort, translation services and, if necessary, accommodation.

According to the statement, tourists will be able to get the Pfizer / BioNTech or China’s Sinovac vaccine, which is administered in two doses, for 400 TL (2.2 thousand rubles).

The data of tourists who have been vaccinated will be entered into the E-pulse system and these people will be given a digital vaccination certificate. This certificate is compatible with the European vaccination certification system and is recognized in the EU, so Russian tourists will be able to travel to Europe with this certificate.
