Meteorology announces weather in Turkey: Strong showers expected in 15 provinces
According to the latest weather assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service, strong showers are expected today in the vicinity of Adıyaman, Tunceli, Diyarbakır, Bitlis, Bingöl, Batman, Siirt, and Şırnak. Temperatures are expected to decrease by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in the western regions and the Eastern Black Sea, with rainfall expected in Istanbul as well.
According to the latest assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service: It is predicted that the weather across Turkey will be partly to mostly cloudy, except for the western parts of Marmara, the Aegean coast, Antalya, and Manisa, where intermittent rainfall is expected. Rain and showers are expected along the coastal areas and in Southeastern Anatolia, while the inland areas may experience rain mixed with snow and snowfall. Heavy rainfall is expected in Rize, Erzurum, Ağrı, eastern parts of Diyarbakır, Mardin, Bitlis, Bingöl, Batman, Siirt, Şırnak, eastern Elazığ, southern and western districts of Muş, and Hakkari, with a high risk of flooding, waterlogging, strong winds, disruptions in transportation due to snowfall, and avalanche risks in these areas.
Icy roads and freezing are expected in the early morning and night hours in the inland and eastern regions. There is a risk of avalanches in the central parts of the Eastern Black Sea and the northern and eastern parts of Eastern Anatolia.
TEMPERATURE: Temperatures are expected to decrease by 4 to 6 degrees Celsius in the western regions and the Eastern Black Sea, with no significant change expected in other areas.
WIND: Light to occasionally moderate winds are expected from the south in the eastern parts of the country and from the north in other areas.

STRONG RAINFALL WARNING: Due to the expected heavy rainfall in Rize, Erzurum, Ağrı, eastern parts of Diyarbakır, Mardin, Bitlis, Bingöl, Batman, Siirt, Şırnak, eastern Elazığ, southern and western districts of Muş, Hakkari, Şırnak’s eastern parts, and southern parts of Van, precautions should be taken against possible adverse effects such as flooding, waterlogging, strong winds, disruptions in transportation due to snowfall, and avalanche risks.
