Meteorology daily forecast report: Temperature to fall with two strong rainfall warnings

According to the weather forecast made by the General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM), precipitation is not expected in Istanbul today. While the daily temperature in Istanbul is expected to be around 17 degrees, the temperature will drop to 10 degrees in the evening.

The eastern parts of Turkey are partly cloudy in places, and the southeast of Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia are predicted to be rainy. Precipitation which will be observed in the form of sleet and snow at the heights of the southeast of Eastern Anatolia, is expected to be locally strong in the eastern districts of Batman and around Siirt in the morning. Haze and fog events are expected in the north and inland areas in the morning and night.

Air temperatures are expected to be around seasonal norms in coastal areas and eastern regions, and two to four degrees below seasonal norms in inland areas.

The wind is expected to blow generally from the north and northeast, in the eastern parts from the south and southwest directions, occasionally with moderate force.
