Meteorology Report for Turkey: Weather Update on September 4, 2025

The Turkish State Meteorological Service has released the daily forecast, and it’s a mixed bag today—sunshine in some parts, rain and storms in others, plus strong winds sweeping across Marmara.
Istanbul: The city will stay mostly clear and sunny with highs around 30°C, but don’t let the calm skies fool you—the wind is expected to pick up in Marmara, reaching 40–60 km/h in places. So if you’re by the Bosphorus or out on the ferries, be ready for a blustery day.
Muğla: Down on the Aegean coast, Muğla enjoys another bright, sunny day with temperatures hitting 35°C. Perfect beach weather, though the heat could feel a bit intense inland by midday.
Antalya: Over in the Mediterranean, Antalya looks settled and warm at 33°C, under clear skies. But as you move eastward toward Adana, Osmaniye, and Hatay, conditions change with scattered thunderstorms and heavy showers rolling in.
Elsewhere in Turkey:
- The Black Sea region is where the real action is, with heavy downpours expected especially in Samsun and Ordu.
- The Eastern provinces like Erzurum and Kars will see cooler temps and spotty thunderstorms.
- Meanwhile, the Southeast bakes under the sun with highs around 37°C in Gaziantep.
Bottom line: If you’re in Istanbul, enjoy the sun but hold onto your hat. If you’re in Antalya or Muğla, it’s beach weather, while the Black Sea braces for heavy rain.
