Meteorology warns again: Beware of the downpour

According to the forecasts of Meteorology, there will be showers in the northern parts of Turkey on the first day of the new week while there will be a drop in temperatures.

The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has published its weather forecasts for the new week. According to forecasts, precipitation will be observed in the Eastern Black Sea Region today, and tomorrow the precipitation will spread to all northern cities bordering the Black Sea, including Istanbul. The highest temperature in Istanbul, which is felt as 32 degrees today, will drop to 28 degrees by the middle of the week.

PRECIPITATION TO STRENGTHEN IN SOME AREAS

According to a recent assessment by MGM, following is expected in various regions of the country:

Partly cloudy in the northern part of Turkey; the middle and eastern Black Sea coasts of Sinop, Sivas, Tokat, Ardahan showers and thunderstorms and rainy. Precipitation is expected to be strong locally in the eastern parts of Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon and Rize.
