‘Forest fire’ warning from Mugla Governorate

According to the latest meteorological assessments, the air temperature will rise for the next 3 days, the humidity will decrease and sudden strong winds are expected to come out, the Muğla Governorate said in a statement and citizens were warned of forest fires.

Due to the increase in air temperature and strong wind, Mugla Governorate, warned to be careful against forest fires. According to the latest meteorological assessments, the air temperature will rise for the next 3 days, the humidity will decrease and sudden strong winds are expected to occur.

The Governorate shared the following statement: “Forested areas banned by the governorate earlier should not be entered. Garbage such as glass and plastic bottles, cigarette butts that could cause a fire should not be left at the side of the roads, garden and greenhouse cleaning should not be done via burning  so as to prevent risk of forest fires, spotted/observed negative issues should be transmitted to the 112 emergency call center and refrain from risky behaviors during the next 3 days, especially near wooded areas to avoid behaviors that increase the risk of fire.”
