Meteorology : Weather report for April 10, 2024
According to the Meteorology report for April 10, while a yellow-coded warning is issued for two provinces; heavy rain is expected in the vicinity of Van, Hakkâri, Şırnak, Diyarbakır, Siirt, and Batman.
According to the latest assessments by the Turkish State Meteorological Service (TSMS) it is predicted that the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy in general across the country, with occasional heavy rain showers and thunderstorms expected in the western Mediterranean’s inland areas, eastern Mediterranean, southern and eastern parts of Central Anatolia, inland areas of the Eastern Black Sea region, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia, and the vicinity of Tokat, Rize, and Artvin.
TEMPERATURE AND WIND
It is forecasted that temperatures will increase by 4-6 degrees Celsius in the central and western regions, decrease by 2-4 degrees Celsius in the eastern regions, and remain above seasonal norms nationwide. Winds are expected to be light to occasionally moderate, mostly from the north and northwest directions.

MARMARA REGION – It is expected to be partly cloudy with low cloud cover. Fog and mist are expected in the eastern parts during the morning and night hours.
