Minister of Transport makes statement about Istanbul: Flights will start

The Minister of Transportation has been in Istanbul for a whiile. Regarding the latest situation about Istanbul the Minister has made the following statements:

“As the General Directorate of Highways, our 68 thousand kilometer operation was underway, and a dedicated work was carried out at the Istanbul Regional Directorate. Due to adverse weather conditions, 11 thousand of our compatriots fought this struggle.

The process was troubled. Traffic stopped between Mahmutbey and Hadımköy due to decommissioned vehicles. The removal of abandoned vehicles continues. We will allow crossings from the FSM and July 15 from 13.00.

Marmaray will continue to provide services to citizens for free tonight and tomorrow night. Difficult climatic conditions continue, although not as much as yesterday, I hope that we will overcome this process together with all our friends.”
