Ministery of Interior announces removal of travel permit requirement between cities
Based on most recent reports “Interior Ministery has announced that travel permit requirement between cities is lifted. The Interior Ministry sent a circular to 81 provincial governorates on the “city Entry/Exit travel restriction”. According to the circular, the requirement to obtain a TRAVEL PERMIT for journeys between cities by PUBLIC TRANSPORT was abolished.
The Ministry said “As a result of the evaluations made, the requirement to obtain a travel permit for inter-city public transportation (bus, plane) has been abolished. Intercity travel will be done with public transportation (plane, train, bus, etc.) Ticketing will be done after application for and the receipt of concerned code via HES (Life fits home) application.
On the road to normalization President Erdoğan had already announced several decisions taken by the government to ease daily life of citizens. These decisions were very welcome by citizens as well as business owners just before the delayed opening of the new season.
