Ministry of Justice sends request to the UAE to arrest mafia boss Sedat Peker

The Ministry of Justice has requested the temporary arrest of Sadat Peker, the leader of a criminal organization from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), about which a red bulletin was issued by Interpol, for the purpose of extradition to Turkey.

As part of the arrest decisions of the Turkish court a red bulletin was issued by Interpol on February 1 to search for Peker at the international level in 194 countries. Thereafter, the Ministry of Justice took action for the extradition of Peker, who was in the UAE.

The Ministry recalled the extradition requests prepared by the Istanbul Anadolu and Bursa Public Prosecutor’s Offices about Sedat Peker in its letter to the UAE.
