Ministry starts to install new security systems in hospitals

According to the instructions given by the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca 4 months ago in order to increase security measures, new security systems are being installed in hospitals.

The application of Entrance Security Systems started in 24 hospitals, especially Ankara Training and Research Hospital, Izmir Çiğli Training and Research Hospital and Izmir Atatürk Training and Research Hospital.

Thanks to the said systems, illegal substances or objects that may endanger the safety of patients and employees will be blocked from entering the hospital. It is planned to extend this application of and security measures throughout the country.

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared the issue on his social media account, saying, “We have urgent work to do for the safety of our health institutions, starting from the entrance. Entrance Security Systems have been installed and new security applications have been started in 24 more hospitals. The system will spread rapidly throughout the country.”
