Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia arrives in Ankara

Mohammed bin Salman, the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia and the de facto ruler of the country, arrived in Ankara today. Selman was welcomed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at an official ceremony at the Presidential Complex. After bilateral and group talks, the two leaders will have dinner together.

A new step has been added to the normalization steps in Ankara-Riyadh relations, where relations reached a freezing point after the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi at the Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Istanbul.

In April, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had met with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto leader of the country, on a visit to Saudi Arabia.

COMMERCIAL AGREEMENTS ARE ON THE AGENDA

Erdogan and Selman started to have a one-on-one meeting. During the meeting, regional and international developments, especially the relations of the two countries, are expected to be discussed. In addition, it is expected that many trade agreements will also be signed between the two countries.
