MSC Cruises will bring 55 million euros in revenue to Turkish tourism

MSC Cruises, one of the largest cruise companies in Europe, has given the good news that they will visit ports of Turkey more frequently. The cruise company, which started its active ship tours from Kuşadası every week during the summer season this year, docked at Istanbul Galataport Istanbul.

On the other hand, MSC Fantasia with size of three football fields is the largest ship ever docked at Istanbul Galataport. The 18-storey giant ship brought a total of 5 thousand 500 passengers to Istanbul.

The company returned to Istanbul after a year break, heralding the start of ship voyages from the ports of Turkey every week in 2023 from May onwards. In this context, the company aims to bring nearly 280 thousand passengers to Turkey and contribute 55 million euros to the country’s tourism.
