MUGLA – DENIZLI highway closed due to snow

The highway between Muğla and Denizli and the road between Menteşe district and Yılanlı Region were closed due to heavy snowfall. The teams are continuing their road cleaning work.

As in the whole country, snow is effective in the high parts of Muğla. While the highway between Muğla and Denizli was closed due to heavy snow, a large number of vehicles remained on the road. The cleaning and salting works of the teams are continuing. In the same way, when Menteşe district and Yılanlı Mountain road were closed to traffic, vehicles queued in the district.

Heavy snowfall brought chain traffic accidents on the Muğla-Denizli highway. Gendarmerie teams have closed the road to two-way transportation in the Gazeller area due to accidents and snow.
