Are flights at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport canceled?

Many flights that were to take place in Istanbul on February 5-6 have been canceled.

ARE FLIGHTS AT SABIHA GÖKÇEN AIRPORT CANCELED?

Regarding the subject, Airport Management and Aviation Industries A.S (HEAS) issued a statement saying “due to adverse meteorological conditions expected across the country, flights at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport; 20 percent reduction will be made in number of flights from 17:00 on 05.02.2023, 10 percent decrease in number of flights all day on 06.02.2023 and 10 percent all day on 07.02.2023. It is recommended that all passengers follow the latest situation regarding their flights on related websites and call centers of the relevant airline.”

The statement made by Turkish Airlines (THY) about the flights and cancellations was as follows:

“Dear Passengers,

Due to the weather conditions expected to occur in Istanbul, some of our flights with departure and arrival at Istanbul Airport dated 05 – 06 February 2023 have been canceled. You can access up-to-date information about your flights via our flight status page; by entering your flight number, departure and destination information; you can also learn your refund or amendment rights from the same page.
