Erzurum is one of the most important cities in the Eastern Anatolia region. Especially known for its livestock sector, the city also boasts the famous Palandöken ski resorts.

On the other hand, there is an important tourism spot in the area. Located 90 kilometers away from the city center, Narman Fairy Chimneys feature 12 different canyons and bear a resemblance to the famous Grand Canyon in the United States.

NARMAN FAIRY CHIMNEYS

Situated at the 7th kilometer of the Narman-Pasinler highway, the fairy chimneys have been covered in snow after recent heavy rainfall in the region. Every year, thousands of domestic and foreign tourists visit these fairy chimneys, which now appear in red and white hues due to the fallen snow.

Some visitors, arriving on horseback, added to the charm of the scene. Riding their horses at full gallop on the snow, they enjoyed a delightful time amidst the unique landscape.
