Netanyahu says Israel has set timing for Gaza land invasion

The Israeli prime minister has announced that his war cabinet has decided on the timing and that an already unstable region will prepare for Israel’s long-awaited ground operation into the Gaza Strip.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Wednesday that the Israeli government had decided it was time to invade Gaza by land.

”The timing of the operation was determined unanimously by the war cabinet and the chief of the general staff,” the Israeli prime minister said in a televised address.” said. He declined to give any details about the timing or stages of the operation.
