New hike in entrance prices of museums and ruins

MUSEUMS IN TURKEY

Entrance fees for museums and ruins operated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism have been increased with effect from July 1.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism has increased the entrance fees to museums and ruins by 30 to 45 percent, effective July 1, 2022. There was no increase in the prices of Müzekart+, which was reduced from TL 70.00 to TL 60.00 on March 01, 2020. Müzekart+ will continue to be sold for 60 TL.

According to the Ministry’s list, new entrance fees in Turkish lira are as follows;

-Göbeklitepe 90 TL,
-Göreme Ruins cost 150 TL,
-Pergamon Scorpion 100 TL,
-Galata Tower 175 TL,
-Troy Museum £100,
-Aspendos Ruins for 100 TL,
-Perge Ruins cost 100 TL,
-Ephesus Ancient City 200 TL,

-Museum entries have changed between 20 and 50 Turkish liras.

In the Fast Track Application, prices were determined as 250 TL for the ruins of Ephesus, 250 TL for the ruins of Hierapolis, 250 TL for the Archaeological Museum of Pamukkale, 250 TL for the Ruins of Goreme and the Dark Church.

The combined ticket prices, which will be valid for 72 hours from the moment of first use, are as follows:

Denizli Hierapolis Ruins + Laodikeia Ruins + Denizli Archaeological Museum 250 TL, Izmir Ephesus Museum + Ephesus Ruins, Hillside Houses + St.Jean Anıcı 350 TL, Canakkale Troy Ruins + Troy Museum 150 TL, Ephesus Ruins + Hillside Houses TL, Side Museum + Side Theater (Single ticket) 125 TL, Şanlıurfa Göbeklitepe Ruins + Animation Center TL, Hatay Museum + St.Pierre Memorial Museum + Necmi Asfuroglu Archaeological Museum £ 150.
