Not good news: Research Group ENAG announces October inflation in Turkey

Breaking news… The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) has released the inflation data for October. Accordingly, inflation increased by 7.18 percent monthly in October. Year-on-year, it increased by 185.34 percent.

The Inflation Research Group (ENAG) appears to the public every month with the inflation rate calculated by the group. It is noteworthy that there is a big gap between the announced ratios and TURKSTAT (state establishment).

ENAG has announced today the inflation data for October. Accordingly,the inflation increased by 7.18 percent in October. The last 12-month increase of the E-CPI was 185.34 percent.

HIGHEST INCREASE IN CLOTHING

When the TURKSTAT subgroups were taken as indicators, the highest monthly decrease was realized in Housing with 1.92 percent and the highest increase was realized in clothing and footwear with 21.50 percent. FOOD INFLATION was oberved as 8.46 percent
