Number of Covid-19 cases in Turkey climbs up to 20 thousand in last 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, 246 thousand 648 Covid-19 tests were performed in Turkey. 19 thousand 761 people tested positive and 51 people lost their lives. The Department of Health has released up-to-date corona virus data. Accordingly, 246,648 tests were conducted on Tuesday July 27.

On same day, 19,761 new cases were identified, while 51 people died. On the other hand, in the last 24 hours, 7,108 people recovered from illness.

DISTURBING LEVEL

Health Minister Fahrettin Koca who made his assessment of the current data on his social media account, and warned citizens as follows: “We have reached the number of cases at an alarming level to keep the epidemic under control. It is the will we show that will stop this. Follow the precautions and get your vaccine.”

RECENT CASE IN VACCINATION

The current data also includes information about the latest situation in vaccination in the country. Accordingly, the average of the first dose in Turkey was 64.38 percent, the average of the second dose was 39.45 percent, and the total of the first, second and third doses was 68 million 681 thousand 744.
