Number of German tourists visiting Antalya tops the list with 93 percent

According to the data received from the Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism of the Antalya Governorate, the number of tourists visiting the city by air in the first 3 months of 2022 increased by 93 percent compared to the same period of 2021.

Based on data provided by Antalya Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, 267,168 people had visited Antalya in first 3 months of 2021. This figure went up to 515,993 during the same period in 2022.

GERMANY TOOK THE FIRST PLACE

During this period, the highest number of tourists to Antalya came from Germany with 111 thousand 359. Germany was followed by Russia with 86,439 tourists, followed by the United Kingdom with 57,609 tourists. The other countries that sent the most tourists to Antalya by air were Iran, Kazakhstan, Poland, Israel, the Netherlands, Ukraine and Jordan, respectively.
