Pegasus Airlines has decided to restart flights to Russia.

Russia Today reported that Pegasus Airlines had resumed flights from Moscow to Istanbul and Antalya. An announcement made on Russia Today’s social media accounts said: “Pegasus Airlines has resumed flights from Moscow to Istanbul and Antalya.”

Pegasus had decided to stop its flights to Moscow starting from March 13 due to sanctions related to insurance, leasing, operations and maintenance services imposed by the European Union on Russia.

Russia is one of the most important tourist markets for Turkey. Turkey receives a huge income thanks to tourists who come from this country, under normal conditions.
